Martha's Vineyard : The last week of our 2007 Summer Vacation was spent on Martha's Vineyard Island. We had never visited there in all our time in Massachusetts. We took the ferry from the terminal in Woods Hole to Vineyard Haven. We stayed at the Crocker House B&B in Vineyard Haven and spent our days exploring the island. The major population centers besides Vineyard Haven are Oak Bluffs and Edgartown. From Edgartown, we took the ferry to Chapaquiddick Island to see the famous Edward Kennedy Bridge.

St. George Utah : St. George was the jumping off point for our trip to Canyon Country (see Nature, Canyon Country for photos). We spent a night and a day here. The night photos are the St. George Mormon Temple. The day pictures are the St. George Tabernacle and old Courthouse. Dr. Alder was our docent to teach us about the geology and history of the area and appears in several of the pictures.
